during my stay, I appreciated the easy stroll to the Pavilion Gardens, where I soaked in the beautiful landscape, and I was also just a few minutes away from the Buxton Museum and Art Gallery, enhancing my weekend exploration experience. as a single traveler, I found the hotel comfortable and affordable for a one-night stopover, perfect for leisurely city walks.

It was just a fine choice for a weekend break in Buxton (Derbyshire) with attractive and competitive value for money. The cold bathroom was a downside, but we managed to sleep okay with the extra blanket provided. For a pleasant stay, consider bringing your own drinks as the service felt disorganized during meals.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel with our two little kids. The impressive foyer set the stage for a delightful family vacation. The breakfast selection was abundant, featuring delicious options that everyone loved....

The hotel boasts a charming atmosphere with friendly staff and beautiful surroundings, although it shows its age and lacks modern amenities like free WiFi. Breakfast is chaotic. food quality leaves much to be desired, yet the spacious rooms offer a comfortable stay overall.

The location is ideal, just a short stroll from historical attractions and conveniently next to the train station. The gardens provide a lovely retreat after meals, and the breakfast selection offers enjoyable delicacies. Unfortunately, the staff's indifference during our stay was disappointing, and the room cleanliness did not meet expectations. Long waits at reception added to the frustration.

Had a pretty disappointing experience. The room wasn't cleaned during our stay, and we only found out after complaining about dirty bins. got hit with extra charges for using the pool. The parking situation is a mess too, had to park on the street. But the bar area was decent!
